The Laboratory for Cognitive Studies of Language (International Centre for Human Development) will hold the seminar «Experimental studies of language and speech (E-SoLaS): Corpus and mathematical methods in linguistic studies (2016)» from 17 to 22 October 2016. The main subjects are experimental methods, introduction to doing statistics in R, and eye-tracking.
Key-speakers are Aki-Juhani Kyröläinen and Seppo Vainio from the University of Turku, Finland. The seminar is a part of the Networking and mobility of students (MA, PhD) and academic staff of partner institutions in Russia, Finland and Norway in the area of cognitive and experimental linguistics (http://nordic.tsu.ru/).
