TSU rises in the U.S. News Best Global Universities ranking
Tomsk State University showed positive dynamics in the prestigious U. S. News Best Global Universities ranking, rising 63 points. In 2019, TSU took the 509th position in the world, retained 6th position among Russian universities, and entered the top 200 in Physics for the first time.
Tomsk State University showed the best result in subject rankings of the U. S. News Best Global Universities in Physics, taking 197th place in the world (6th in the Russian Federation). TSU also maintained its position in the top three universities of the Russian Federation in Materials Science (295th position in the world) and rose to 394th place in Chemistry (4th in the Russian Federation).
