2022-06-06
TSU Faculty of Philology journal “Text. Book. Publishing.” has climbed up the ranks of the Scopus database in Visual Arts and Performing Arts, rising from Q4 to Q1.

“This result is brought about by a consistent publishing policy, strict double-blind peer review of articles and selection of material corresponding to the topic, and the work of the editor-in-chief Irina Aizikova and executive secretary Vera Bal,” comments Inna Tubalova, dean of the TSU Faculty of Philology. “It is also important to note the impact of Dmitry Katunin, executive editor of ‘TSU Journal of Philology’, who inspired the faculty to publish specialized journals and actively participated in the process.”

Published since 2012, the journal “Text. Book. Publishing.” unites editors, publishers, and researchers who are interested in theoretical questions of texts, book culture, and the sociology of reading. TSU Faculty of Philology publishes four journals in total: the leader “TSU Journal of Philology” (Vestnik Tomskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta, Filologiya), which has maintained its position in Q1 for several years, as well as the unique “Imagology and Comparative Studies” (climbed to Q2 last year), and “Russian Journal of Lexicography” (Q3).
