Areas of Research

  • Fundamental regularities in the behavior of biological tissues and their interaction with implanted materials with shape memory. Physical and mechanical criteria of implant material selection.
  • Structure of medical alloys on the basis of titanium nickelide, consistent patterns of phase changes, effects of shape memory and elasticity, damping mechanisms and plastic properties of alloys.

  • Monolith and porous alloys with shape memory on the basis of titanium nickelide for the wide spectrum of medical objectives, technical conditions, medical and technical requirements and production technology.

  • Reticulate, tissular and porous implants on the basis of titanium nickelide for the chirurgic plastics and replacement of organism tissues.

  • Experimental research of interaction between cellular populations in the porous structure of incubator-implants from titanium nickelide.

  • Technology of production of the new class of biocompatible materials and implants on the basis of nickelide.
